The Duke Spirit - We love the way these London-based rockers have taken the “spirit” of classic rock (of the Americana and soul variety) and added a dose of slick modern edge—as evidenced on their acclaimed album Neptune. We’re also big fans of singer Liela Moss’s powerful, husky Joplin-esque vocals. Taking time out of their busy schedule, Moss and guitarists Dan Higgins and Toby Butler dropped by our Los Angeles studio to perform stripped down versions of their tunes “Step and the Walk,” “Into the Fold,” and “Dog Roses.”

Do you like your folk orchestrated and lush? Then check out the Stillwater, Oklahoma band Other Lives. See the group perform two songs from their self-titled debut album and a beautiful cover of Leonard Cohen’s “The Partisan.”
The multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter came ‘round with her signature guitar in hand to perform a set of dreamy tunes off her yet-to-be-released album, Lullaby.
